This rather magical and theatrical coat is made from a semi vintage suzani quilt.

Suzani is a traditional form of embroidery, the name comes from the Persian word for "needle" and originates from the area that is now known as Uzbekistan.

In the nineteenth century, Uzbek women produced fabulous embroidered hangings, bed covers, wrapping cloths, table covers, and prayer mats for their households and their daughters' dowries.

These days the suzani embroidery is usually created by extremely skillful machinists.

This beautiful and unique long line coat is designed to have a real 60’s feel with a Sgt Pepper style collar.

Handmade in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan India by a local tailor. There is something about this piece that makes it feel like an heirloom.

It’s not only a showstopper of a coat but it would look amazing hanging on display to bring a unique boho feel to your home.

It is designed as a dress coat so has no fastening.
